Hey SaucyPants!  We can't tell you how much we appreciate you checking out our site!  Here is a little bit about us to get you started ... 

SaucyPants was cooked up in 2011.  It wasn't born after years of cooking experience.  Rather, it was quite the opposite.  SaucyPants has been around ever since I started cooking ... yep 2011!  Needless to say I'm on the learning journey with you!  SaucyPants was born to fix a little problem I call the "technologically challenged mom" ... gosh I sure hope she doesn't ever read this section.   Really though, she has come a VERY long way since then and is even a regular at the apple store now, so this doesn't even apply anymore!  But there was a time ... 

Anyways, here is my story.  So, I decided to cook, but I realized I didn't have any recipes.  And I figured recipes were the best place to start ... duh right?  So, I began to do what I think most beginning cooks do, I put in several recipe requests to my mom.  This is where the problem started!  I would have to wait for my mom to type up the recipe and then email it to me.  You can imagine this took awhile.  Everytime I received a recipe, I was ready for another one!  

I thought, "there has to be a better way!"  Hence, SaucyPants was born.  With SaucyPants, I wanted an easy way to store, sort, and share my recipes.  I wanted a site that was geared just towards that, no frills and distractions.  And I wanted something that was universal, that wasn't tied to an account that I had to join that only allowed me to add recipes from their site to my recipe box.  I wanted a universal recipe box, and most importantly, I wanted access to all of my mom's recipes all of the time!

And so it is!  My mom now has a cookbook entitled, "family" on SaucyPants, and anything that she tags as "family," automatically gets shared to me.  It's great!  

I'm giving away all of SP's secrets!  But please do check it out and login.  I think you will find it a very fun way to store and share your recipes!  You might even find your self saying, "will you share that with me SaucyPants!"  It's a name that catches on quick!  Trust me ... my whole family calls me SaucyPants now!
